Twenty films by Indigenous directors and a keynote address by award-winning Indigenous film-maker Sandra Sunrising Osawa (Makah) will highlight Bellevue Community College’s sixth annual American Indian Film Festival Nov. 5-7.
Also featured will be internationally acclaimed poet and musician Joy Harjo (Mvskoke/Cree Nation), performing songs from her latest CD release, “Winding Through the Milky Way.”

Project Title: "Gene Gomez" Crazy Hair Salon during BCC Spirit Week!
Fundraiser for Camp Goodtimes

Friday - 11am-10pm (through the Halloween Dance) - C Bldg entrance to cafeteria
Info: BCC Spirit week occurs the week of Oct. 20th. All clubs and programs are invited to do something fun this week. Rotaract will do "crazy hair-dos" for a donation - with proceeds going to Camp Goodtimes.
Sponsors:BCC Rotaract Club is participating in a collaberatve effort to make BCC Spirit Week! Along with Peer to Peer Mentoring, Campus Activity Board, Associated Student Body Government and many other clubs and programs that have school spirit and want to share it!

Location: Camp Burton - Vashon Island
Transportation: BCC Rotaract Providing Transportation for 12. Meet at Student Programs at 8:30am
What to Bring: Hat, Sunglasses, $10 for ferry & pizza dinner. If you want to BRING IT ON in the annual whip cream fight, bring a change of clothes and be prepared not only to throw those clothes away but to stink! :)

Details:

Date: Saturday, February 9, 2008
Place: Snoqualmie Pass – Summit West
Timeline: (Approximate) 8:00AM to 1:30 or 3:30
Based on carpoolers schedules
Carpool: Meet @ BCC’s Parking Garage – bottom floor.
Bellevue Rotary Volunteers have offered to give rides!

Equipment: Ski or snowboarding equipment not required. You can bring or rent your own (SOWA or Snoqualmie will not pay for this rental) but can perform duties at the bottom of the mountain where you can walk to the bottom of the courses as well.

Dress: Layer clothes and bring extras to change into later if the weather is wet/cold, and also bring as much winter weather clothing to share with friends if possible

Release Forms: BCC Students required to sign standard BCC release forms as well as Special Olympics Forms.

Directions to Summit West at Snoqualmie Pass · I-405 or I-5 Northbound or Southbound to I-90, follow I-90 East to Issaquah · At exit 52, turn RIGHT onto Ramp towards W. Summit · Turn RIGHT (South) onto SR-906
