Our Mission
Traditional belief in Nepal concerning peoples with disabilities is that they are cursed and not worthy of further education, training or support. In partnership with Nepali Rotarians we will promote understanding about people with disabilities via a disability awareness campaign piloted in five districts of Nepal. The integrated, multimedia campaign will create awareness of their condition, potential, abilities and personal rights that will lead to opportunity, education and productive lives. A call center will be established providing the caller with information and referrals to other agencies that will give specific assistance. Additional club-funded projects between districts will leverage this campaign.Trip to Nepal Sept. 2008
